WiFi QR Code Generator
A WiFi QR code encodes your SSID, password, and encryption protocol (WPA/WPA2/WPA3 or open). When scanned with iOS Camera or Android Lens, a prompt appears: 'Join this network?'. Users tap once and connect immediately without misreading long passwords.

Q:Does this work on both iPhone and Android?
Yes. Both iOS (from iOS 11+) and Android (from Android 10+) have native built-in camera scanning that directly connects to the WiFi network.
Q:What if my network is hidden?
Check the 'Hidden Network' box in our form. We format the MECARD payload with the 'H:true' flag so phones search for the hidden SSID.
Q:Is it safe to put our WiFi password in QRSlate?
Completely safe. All encoding occurs 100% locally in your web browser. No network requests are sent, and no passwords are ever stored on any server.
Q:What paper size is best for a WiFi desk card?
We recommend our A6 (105×148mm) template printed on 300gsm cardstock or slipped into an acrylic tabletop stand.
Q:Does a WiFi QR code expire if I change my password?
The code is static. If you change your router password, you will need to print a new card with the updated password.
